COMPUTER & TECHNOLOGY INSTRUCTOR
FITWELLHYDRO is seeking a knowledgeable, patient, and motivating Computer & Technology Instructor (Contractor) to lead accessible, beginner-friendly digital literacy classes for our community. Share your passion for technology, problem-solving, and empowering people with essential modern-day skills. This role blends clear instruction, hands-on learning, and supportive coaching to help participants build confidence using computers, smartphones, and everyday digital tools.
You Will
- Teach beginner-friendly computer and technology classes for adults and seniors
- Cover essential skills such as typing, email, internet browsing, online safety, and device basics
- Introduce practical tools including WhatsApp, AI basics, online shopping, video calls, and more
- Adapt lessons for different learning styles, comfort levels, and accessibility needs
- Create a welcoming, patient, and judgment-free learning environment
- Encourage digital confidence, independence, and safe technology habits
- Help build consistent attendance and community engagement
You Have
- Experience teaching computer skills, digital literacy, or technology basics
- Strong understanding of everyday tech: email, browsers, apps, smartphones, online safety, etc.
- Clear communication skills and a patient, encouraging teaching style
- Ability to break down concepts step-by-step for beginners and seniors
- Comfort supporting participants with varying levels of digital experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (required)
