African Dance Instructor
FITWELLHYDRO is seeking a passionate African Dance Instructor (Contractor) to deliver vibrant, culturally rich dance classes to our community. In this high-energy, land-based setting, you will share the joy, rhythm, and tradition of African dance while fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment.
This role blends fitness, artistry, and cultural education, offering participants an immersive experience rooted in African dance traditions. Through engaging instruction, you will help create a space that promotes confidence, connection, and joy.
You Will
- Lead dynamic and engaging African dance classes in a land-based environment
- Introduce students to both traditional and contemporary African dance styles
- Create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive class atmosphere
- Build a following and grow class attendance through engaging instruction
You Have
A degree or certification in dance, performing arts, or fitness instruction
Experience teaching African dance
Strong knowledge of African rhythms, music, and cultural context
An energetic and motivating teaching style
CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
